小宮山 逢邦 ストックホルムの「Sway Gallery」にて個展

理事長の小宮山逢邦が、10月3日〜31日までストックホルムの「Sway Gallery」にて個展を開催しています。

日本の古典的なモチーフを描いた繊細で美しい切り絵の世界はヨーロッパでも注目を集めています。

Our new exhibition is opening this Thursday.

Hobo Komiyama was born in 1946 in Tokyo, Japan. While studying at Musashino Art University, Hobo became a researcher for a theatre company. After graduating from Musashino Art University, he began his career as a clothing dye colorist and illustrator. In 1975 he began his career as a cutting paper artist.

For this European exhibition the main theme is scenes from The Tale of Genji which is a classical work written during the early years of the 11th century in the Heian period by the female writer Murasaki Shikibu.
